Job Opportunity: Fully Qualified Tutor – Maths & English (up to GCSE Level)

Role responsibilities:

  • Tutor pupils up to GCSE level in Maths and/or English

  • Assess pupils’ current working levels and plan tailored lessons

  • Prepare engaging resources based on each pupil’s interests and needs

  • Liaise with parents, schools, and local authorities to ensure the best outcomes

  • Work with pupils who may have SEN or SEMH needs

  • Decide on referrals based on age, subject, and location briefings

You will:

  • Have full control over your diary and workload

  • Work with a variety of pupils with varying weekly hours (from 1 up to 15 hours)

  • Benefit from the chance to grow your tutoring practice faster if you teach both subjects

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
