Would you consider yourself a patient and composed individual? Do you possess a charismatic and creative approach to learning? If you are a Fully Qualified English Tutor who is looking to work on a part-time basis in Lincoln and the surrounding areas, then this role may be for you!

We are looking for a driven and effective English tutor. As a tutor, you will need to be able to build a relationship with this student to help tailor your approach to cater for their additional needs and preferences.

The pay for tutoring is £25-£30 per hour. It is desirable for the applicants to hold full UK driving licence as a selection of the pupils will need to be tutored within their home/at a local library.

Requirements for the role:

-          Professional Teaching Qualifications are preferred (Qualified Teacher Status, PGCE etc.).

-          An excellent grasp of the English Language.

-          A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.

-          An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).

-          A strong subject knowledge of the English Curriculum.

-          Experience of working with young people and delivering GCSE level content (Desirable).

-          Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
