Job description

Education requires many things to be successful: a willing learner, an enthusiastic educator, and environment that promotes academia and enlightenment. Not all students will have access to this in their educational journey, but we can guarantee there will be an educator there with them, every step of the way. We are always on the lookout for tutors with that extra amount of compassion and patience, and that is why we are looking to recruit SEND/SEMH experience tutors to support the learners of Lincoln and the surrounding areas. As a trusted adult, you will be expected to keep a professional outlook on life within your roles, as well as putting the safeguarding and safety needs of the student at the forefront of the learning experience.

The pay rate for a tutor varies from £25-£30 per hour, dependant on experience, roles and the demands of the student. We would ideally like educators with a drivers license, as travel may be required depending on where the tuition may take place.

Requirements for the role:).

-          A desire to promote and encourage, as well as motivate themselves.

-          An excellent grasp and understanding of the English Language.

-          An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).

-          A strong subject knowledge of the specialism and curriculum of your choice.

-          Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.

-          GCSE delivery experience (Desirable) and UK Delivery experience (Essential).

-          Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
