1:1 Tutor Required – Kettering

Are you an experienced educator looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is seeking dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised tuition to pupils across Kettering and the surrounding areas. Tuition sessions take place in pupils' homes or school settings during school hours.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people who may be out of mainstream education, have SEND, SEMH needs, or require additional academic support to help them achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will:

• Deliver engaging, personalised tuition tailored to each pupil's learning needs.
• Plan and adapt lessons to support academic progress across relevant subjects.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families, schools, and local authorities.
• Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress following each session.
• Create a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment.
• Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A minimum of two years' teaching experience in a school or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual pupil needs.
• A patient, reliable, and compassionate approach.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
