Job Duties:

• Deliver English and Maths functional skills outreach sessions to students
• Assess individual learning needs and develop tailored learning plans
• Provide support and guidance to help students achieve their academic goals
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed
• Collaborate with other educators and professionals to enhance learning outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Teaching qualification in English and Maths
• Experience in delivering functional skills education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of teaching experience in English and Maths

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of functional skills curriculum
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans
• Proficiency in using educational technology
• Organisational and time management skills
• Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
• Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries
• Potential travel to different locations within Greater London

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
