Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions to students in various subjects
  • Develop tailored lesson plans based on students' learning needs
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their understanding
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Stay updated on educational best practises and subject matter knowledge

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be qualified teacher
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong subject knowledge in the areas being tutored

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 6 months experience in tutoring or teaching role

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Proficiency in using educational technology
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in teaching approaches
  • excellent relationship builder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work primarily in an educational institution or private tutoring environment
  • May require travel to student's homes or other locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
