Job description

Job Title: KS3 Outreach Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Brightlingsea

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive KS3 English and Maths lessons to students
  • Provide individualised support to students to enhance their understanding and performance
  • Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly to adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents/guardians to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching KS3 English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of teaching experience in KS3 English and Maths

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Proficiency in using educational technology
  • Organisational and time management skills

Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in a learners home setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
