As a Tutor you will be responsible for working with your students in small groups or 1:1 to provide them with assistance and the help they require to succeed within their subject. You will be responsible for time management, keeping pupils on track and reporting back to head of departments.

This role would be ideal for University students studying a core subject wishing to work part time. If you are a qualified teacher looking for a part time role with a smaller number of students then this role may also suit you.

You must be professional and be able to inspire and and motivate classes of mixed abilities. It is desireable for you to have proven experience within schools however we will consider applicants with excellent subject knowledge wishing for the chance to pursue a teaching career.

In order to apply for tuition and intervention work then you must hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one. You must have the right to work in the UK and if you have been overseas for a period of 6 months or more in the last 5 years then you must provide overseas criminal clearance also.
