We need one amazing full time, Teaching Assistant to work for our Partnership Primary Schools across Swansea from the next academic year starting from 4th September 2023.
We are looking for someone who:
Practices what they preach…. walks the talk!
Has a positive, open, growth mindset and consistently strives for this with all the children he/she learns with.
Champions independence, effort and relishes a challenge in the pursuit of mastery.
Is resilient, persistent, and tenacious, always striving for the best learning possible for the children they work with and knows how to move them along clear learning pathways.
Seeks to understand what a child understands, knows and can do.
Gives and receives good quality feedback.
Works with the teacher to find ways to make learning experiences exciting, purposeful, child led.
Understands the power and importance of grammar and basic skills in maths!
Looks beyond the classroom to inspire and engage learners and himself/herself to contribute to the wider life of the school and be willing to take on a responsibility for an area of school.
Is consistent with behaviour management approaches based on positive, caring relationships and two-way respect.

Minimum Requirements
5x GCSE’s A-C
Experience with ALN- professional or personal
A can do attitude
Can speak Welsh (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
