Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join one of our partner secondary schools in Manchester as Trainee Teaching Assistants. This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring educators to gain hands-on classroom experience with full training and support.

Position: Trainee Teaching Assistant
Location: Manchester
Start Date: September 2025 (earlier starts available)
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Pay: £89 – £95 per day (paid weekly via PAYE)

• Supporting students in lessons, helping to boost engagement and understanding.

• Working with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment.

• Offering 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs.

• Gaining practical experience and training to develop your skills in education.

• Ideal stepping stone for a future in teaching, SEN support or pastoral care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
