Teaching Personnel is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals to train as Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Cardiff, starting September 2025.

This role is ideal for those with a passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference – no prior classroom experience required!

‍ What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting pupils with classroom tasks, learning activities and social development

• Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and providing a positive learning environment

• Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support individual learning

• Helping children with additional learning needs (ALN) as needed

What we’re looking for:

• A genuine interest in working with children and helping them reach their full potential

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Reliability, enthusiasm and a positive attitude

• Experience working with children (e.g., sports coaching, volunteering, youth work) is a bonus – but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
