At Teaching Personnel, we are offering 3 people an exciting opportunity to become Cover supervisors. Through free CPD courses and on the job training you will be trained up as a confident and competent classroom practitioner.

We have a proven track record of bringing in people from different industries and experiences and helping them become successful cover supervisors. This is an exciting opportunity for graduates looking for an exciting first step in their career or just people who are looking for a change.

Successful Cover supervisor will benefit from

  • Minimum of £100 a day (6.5 hours work)
  • CPD training
  • Having a designated and committed consultant to support you through your role
  • An excellent referral bonus scheme

Role of a Cover Supervisor

  • Supervising work that has been set in accordance with school policy
  • Liaising with teaching staff about work set for a class
  • Managing the behaviour of students to ensure a constructive environment whilst undertaking work
  • Responding to any questions from students about process and procedure
  • Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with the school's policies and procedures
  • Collecting any completed work and resources after the lesson and returning them to the appropriate teacher or subject leader

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
