Teching Assistant
Job description
A vibrant and inclusive specialist school in Bournemouth is seeking a compassionate, resilient, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team. The school supports children and young people with a wide range of learning difficulties and complex needs, providing a nurturing and positive learning environment.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with diverse needs, helping them engage in learning, build independence, and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families to deliver high-quality support tailored to each pupil.
Essential Experience
Applicants must have one of the following:

Care work experience, or
-
Experience supporting children or young people with medical needs
This may include personal care, supporting medical routines, understanding complex needs, or experience within care, SEN, or health-related settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
