Are you a teaching assistant with strong behaviour management? 

Teaching Personnel have positions within SEN schools for a teaching assistants that is looking to further their teaching experience to fulfil the following role:

• Full time Behaviour Support Assistant 
• Working hours (8:30am – 3:30pm)
• Earn up to GBP1,600 per month

With a large number pupils in the School exhibiting challenging behaviour and additional learning needs, the schools are looking for a teaching assistant who can be confident but firm when in pressured situations. A teaching assistant who desires to work their way up through the school by using this opportunity to gain experience is desirable for the role.

Applicant requirements;

• Previous exposure supporting the learning of ‘harder to reach’ Primary and secondary aged pupils
• Be confident supporting pupils aged 4 - 11 within their studies across various subject areas
• Hold previous experience supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour
• Be able to build positive working relationships with pupils
• Team Teach, Approach or any other form of restraint/physical intervention/de-escalation training is highly desirable
• Sports background (preference)
• Have good access to public transport or Driving License

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
