Teaching Assistants - Salford
Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in an Outstanding Secondary school?
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Secondary School in Salford to recruit Teaching Assistants for January 2020.
- Several full-time roles available from January 2020.
- Opportunity to work in an 'Outstanding' Ofsted graded Secondary school.
- Working along senior teachers, supporting pupils who require additional support.
- Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Earn up to £300 per week, depending on your experience
Working as a Teaching Assistant in our partner school, will involve several roles and responsibilities including:
- Providing additional support within subjects such as English, Maths or Science
- Being able to assess and evaluate student's progress and report back to Senior teachers
- Working with children who require additional support including students who may display challenging behaviour
- Promoting positive behaviour management in order to guide those with challenging behaviour
With over 800 students, our client school is in need of Teaching Assistants to ensure particular students have the additional support they require and that teachers are also supported in the classroom.
To be considered for this role, potential candidates must have:
- Experience working within an educational setting with children and young people or hold skills transferrable to working in a Secondary school.
- Any experience with challenging behaviour is also desirable however; our client school does provide excellent behaviour management support for its staff.
Our client school is located in Salford and is easily accessible via the A580 and M61 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Bury. For candidates who do not drive, the school is also accessible via several forms of public transportation from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
