Teaching Assistant York

Are you looking for a new career as a Teaching Assistant? Experienced with SEN? We have a fantastic opportunity in September 2019 working within an SEN school based in York as a Specialist Teaching Assistant. My client provides specialist support to children who have special education needs such as Autism, SEMH and behavioural difficulties. They value every child as an individual and they are looking for a candidate who has a desire and passion to really make a difference.

Candidate Role:

  • Assisting students age 3-11 who have SEMH, ASC or behavioural difficulties
  • Supporting the delivery of all lessons and helping to engage students
  • Encouraging and developing the students confidence and independence
  • 30am to 4pm

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experienced with Autism, SEMH or behavioural difficulties
  • Ideal candidate experienced within Primary or Secondary education
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach
  • Available for a September 2019
  • Live in or be able to commute to the York area

Teaching Personnel Benefits:
