We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in the Dudley area that is seeking a qualified English Teacher (QTS) to join their English department from September 2026.

The Role

Teach engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing and communication.

Create a positive classroom culture built on high expectations and mutual respect.

Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to help every student achieve their potential.

Contribute positively to the wider school community.
We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school.

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

A resilient, positive and enthusiastic approach.

A genuine passion for helping young people succeed, particularly those who may need extra encouragement to reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
