Teaching Assistant with Team Teach

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience working with challenging students. The post will involve working across Key Stage One and Two. Some students may have ASD, MLD and ADHD. If you are a Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant with knowledge and experience in supporting children or feel you are interested in committing to a SEN role and attend a CPD Team-Teach course please apply now.

The role will involve:

- Working 1:1 and/or with small group of pupils

- Providing ongoing support to children with Special Educational Needs

- Growing pupils confidence and encouraging them towards independence

- Providing a calming environment for children

- Worked well under pressure and able to deal with de-escalating situations

Personal qualities required:

- A good listener and sensitive to pupils needs

- A sense of responsibility

- Positive behaviour management
