Teaching Assistant with ASC experience

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience working with students with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition)? Are you seeking a new full-time role.

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Primary School in Sale(M33) to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work specifically with students with ASC ASAP

  • Full-time ASC Teaching Assistant role available with an immediate start for one term (possibility of continuing).
  • Supporting students with ASC across a range of subjects.
  • Working alongside the class teacher to provide additional support for pupils with ASC.
  • Any experience with children who have SEN in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Earn up to £300 per week depending upon previous experience.
  • Opportunity to work in a 'Good' Ofsted rated Primary School.

Working as an ASC Teaching Assistant within our client school, roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside Senior Leaders and class teachers to provide additional support for pupils with ASC.
  • Some pupils may show disruptive and challenging behaviour as a result of their special educational needs, managing this effectively will be essential.
  • Providing tuition and small group interventions to pupils within the ASC Provision.

Our client Primary School is in need of extra staff to guarantee these particular students are supported and that teachers also have the help they require in the classroom.

To be considered for this role experience working within an educational setting with children and young people who have ASC or other Special Educational Needs is desirable. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification is also greatly acknowledged for success in this role.

Located in Sale (M33), the client Primary School is easily accessible from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For non drivers, there is a number of public transportation links meaning the school can be accessed.
