Full Time Teaching Assistant Wanted in St Austell starting in the new academic year.

It takes a big heart to shape little minds and if you have a passion in assisting children to become the best versions of themselves, this job may be perfect for you!

Job Requirements:

  • Work closely with the teacher and support students on all classroom tasks
  • Create stimulating and purposeful tasks to maximise student's learning
  • Create opportunities that benefit each student's individual needs
  • Adapt lessons to ensure all student's needs are met
  • Assist children on a 1:1 or group basis under the management of the teacher
  • Offer positive praise to develop children's self-esteem and confidence
  • Provide motivation and encourage children to reach their potential
  • Maintain a safe and positive environment for all learners

Although previous school-based experience is desirable it is not essential and previous relevant jobs will not be disregarded. Safeguarding Training is necessary and can be achieved through Teaching Personnel, along with other CPD Training such as Team Teach. A good level of Maths and English is necessary.
