Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs School

We are actively recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work within a large Special Educational Needs school in the Slough area. The specialist provision caters for children 2 ½ to 19 years of age with a statement of special educational needs including autism and associated learning difficulties. In addition many pupils have specific sensory, behavioural and social or emotional needs. We are currently looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to work in both Primary and Secondary age groups.

We are aiming to recruit someone who has experience of working with children/young people with SEN or be willing to learn and develop their own knowledge and skills to be able to do so. Although recruiting someone with experience would be preferred we would be happy to accept candidates who are keen to learn and have a passion to work with children. The role would be highly rewarding. It is also important to have a high standard of communication and be enthusiastic about the job role itself.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
