Location: Dorset Area (Ferndown, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible opportunities available)

The Role
We are seeking experienced and passionate KS2 and KS3 teachers to join our team across multiple school settings. This is an exciting opportunity for adaptable educators who enjoy variety in their work and are committed to making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.

You may be placed in one primary location or work across different schools depending on your preference and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the curriculum (KS2) and/or in specialist subjects (KS3), ensuring lessons are accurate, engaging, and appropriately challenging

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, leadership teams, and support staff

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

  • Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Proven experience teaching in KS2 and/or KS3

  • Strong subject knowledge relevant to the age range and curriculum, with the ability to inspire and challenge pupils

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different school environments

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
