A full time position for a teaching assistant with extensive experience working with pupils with ASC. The position is full time and commences immediately after Easter and will involve working 5 days per week 8.30 - 3.30pm. The position will initially run until the end of the academic year, however for the right candidate there may be an opportunity for a permanent position within the school.

Sites cater for individuals between 4 - 19 with a Statement of SEN or an EHCP, on the autistic spectrum and/or have significant communication and interaction difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
This particular role will involve working within the ASC base of the School. The pupils who you will be working with can often display signs of challenging behaviour, so the school have suggested that it might be better for the Teaching Assistant to be male as the pupils tend to respond better to a male role model.
The ideal teaching assistant will have:
- Team- Teach
- An understanding of how to cater for pupils with SEN needs
- A commitment to assuring that all pupils have the necessary support in order to achieve the optimal potential
If you are a qualified teaching assistant and feel that you have the appropriate qualities and attributes to succeed in the role, please apply directly to be considered for the role.
