Role: Special Needs Support Assistant
Start Date: September 4th 2023
Hours: 8:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday term time only
Location: Muswell Hill

Do you have experience in supporting children with an Autism diagnosis?
Can you provide engaging and tailored learning support to suit individuals with learning challenges?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a lovely Primary school in Muswell hill who are seeking a full-time Special Needs support assistant to join their supportive team in September 2023
The client school is a two-form entry Primary school, providing classes across a modern building.
In your role as a Special needs support assistant, you will report to the class teacher or special needs coordinator and provide tailored learning support to a child who is non-verbal and have a diagnosis of Autism.
The school are seeking someone who has a minimum of 2 years experience supporting children with ASC and hold a qualification relevant to the field.

About you:
- At least 2 years experience of working with children with learning difficulties
- Have experience in support children with ASC
- Hold a relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 or Makaton Level 2)
- Able to provide bespoke support for a child with autism (non-verbal)
- Good organisation skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Be a UK resident with right to work
- Hold current Child only DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
