Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants with a school who's children all have social emotional mental health difficulties.

The School

The school is an effective, supportive, pioneering and imaginative community where every child is valued and achieves more than was thought possible. The school is a special school for boys aged 7-11 years who have social, emotional and mental health issues. Some may also have associated learning difficulties which have impacted on their ability to access the curriculum in mainstream schools.

You We are looking to take on an hard working, reliable and patient Teaching Assistant to support across the school.

Role The positions are term time only, you must be able to demonstrate an interest for working in a SEN school setting and with young children with a range of needs. We are committed to staff development so will help you to develop your skills and expertise.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
