Teaching Assistants required ASAP for Blackburn School!

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Blackburn based SEN School which requires SEN Teaching Assistants to work with KS3/4 pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs including Autism, PMLD, Physical Disabilities and ADHD. The School is based centrally in the Blackburn area with close links to public transport and plenty of on site parking. The School is smaller than average and pupils are aged between 11-17 years old.

The School are looking for candidates to start as soon as possible although it may be on an ad-hoc basis. The School are seeking candidates to work on a supply basis initially with the view to taking you on a permanent contract or a long term basis in the new academic year.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEN and be willing to be flexible and work on an ad-hoc basis initially. The candidate will benefit from working in a supportive staff team and working with pupils who display challenging behaviours.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

* negotiable pay rates £50.44 - 55 per day

* long term position available
