We are recruiting enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistants to join welcoming primary and secondary schools across South Wales. These long-term opportunities are ideal for candidates looking to build a career in education while making a positive impact on children's learning and development.

What Your Day Could Look Like

As a Teaching Assistant, no two days are the same. You could be:

  • Supporting the class teacher with engaging lessons and classroom activities.
  • Working one-to-one or with small groups to help pupils achieve their learning goals.
  • Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), autism, ADHD or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils remain engaged in learning.
  • Preparing classroom resources and assisting with day-to-day classroom organisation.
  • Recording pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
  • Helping create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

  • Teaching Assistants (TA)
  • Learning Support Assistants (LSA)
  • Classroom Assistants
  • ALN/SEN Teaching Assistants
  • Nursery Practitioners and Early Years Professionals
  • Graduates considering a career in teaching or educational psychology
  • Youth Workers
  • Sports Coaches
  • Support Workers and Care Workers
  • Childcare Professionals
  • Anyone with experience working with children or young people

If you have transferable skills, a positive attitude and a passion for supporting children's learning, we'd love to hear from you.

We're Looking For

  • A positive, patient and caring approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is advantageous, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willingness to register before starting work.
