We are recruiting on behalf of a 'good 'behaviour special school in Leyton who are looking for an exceptional teaching assistant to work with a group of 7 students who have social, emotional or mental health issues; pupils come from deprived and challenging backgrounds, students exhibit very challenging behaviours and have found it difficult to cope within a mainstream school setting. The school educate pupils aged between 10-18 years old who require individualised support within a small group setting and have high expectations of pupils to reach their full potential.

Job specification:
- Good understanding and experience of how to support pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
- Have high expectations of pupils by setting clear boundaries and making pupils accountable for their own behaviour and actions
- Deliver both 1:1 and group support which meets learners needs
- Able to start immediately and work full time during term time Monday - Friday 8.30am -3.30pm
