Teaching Assistant level 2

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a role in a Preston based school. 

The school caters for pupils who have additional needs and can no longer remain in mainstream education, often due to the fact they display difficult behaviours or need 1:1 support. 

The school caters specifically for pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, ASC, ADHD and ODD. 

They are looking to appoint a hard working Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work on a small group and 1:1 basis with pupils who on occasion, may display challenging behaviours. 

The role will be full time and school hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday with half an hour for lunch. 

The role will start in January at the latest, if not before and candidates must be willing to undertake one volunteer day in school prior to the role starting so the head teacher can ascertain your suitability to the role. 

You must be confident in your classroom management skills and be confident in your ability to build rapport with pupils who often struggle to engage in education if you're applying for this role.

Pay will be dependent on experience, but likely between GBP65 - 75 per day.
