Help Every Child Discover Their Potential

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join a specialist education setting dedicated to supporting children with a range of special educational needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring teacher who believes that every child deserves an education tailored to their individual strengths and needs.

This full-time position is available from September 2026, with the opportunity for the successful candidate to begin earlier.

 

Your Contribution

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging, creative and personalised lessons that encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence.

You will create an inclusive classroom where children feel secure, respected and motivated to learn while adapting teaching approaches to meet a wide range of learning abilities.

Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families, you will help develop individual learning programmes, monitor progress and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small.

Your ability to establish positive routines and provide consistent encouragement will play a key role in helping pupils flourish both academically and personally.

This is an opportunity to work in an environment where relationship-building, patience and creativity are just as important as delivering the curriculum.

 

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from experienced teachers who have previously worked with pupils with additional needs and are confident stepping into the role from day one.

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching within primary education, ideally in an SEN or alternative provision environment.
  • Be confident adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Show compassion, resilience and a commitment to helping every pupil succeed.
