Are you an experienced Teaching assistant looking for work in a fantastic Plymouth school?

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit and experienced Primary teaching assistant to fill a role in one of our outstanding Plympton schools. This successful two form entry school is looking to bring on a confident and able teaching assistant to work in their year three class. The successful applicant will be working in a challenging class with a number of SEN students – The successful applicant will be expected to support the class teacher in a number of areas.

The duties of this role will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and assisting in the learning and support of the students
  • Helping to lay out resources and clear away at the end of the school day
  • Supporting the SEN students in their daily learning
  • Being proactive and passionate about learning
  • Adhering to the policies and ethos of the school
  • Potentially staying after school hours to help in after school clubs

Successful applicants must have sufficient experience and relevant training in this area to effectively facilitate this role. In addition to this the successful applicant must have a high level of confidence and ability as a teaching assistant.
