Full-Time Role in Kingston Upon Thames
Starting in September 2025
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kingston Upon Thames, and we're seeking an exceptional SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team full-time.
These pupils benefit from a personalised approach to learning, and you will play a vital role in helping them overcome barriers, build trust, and thrive academically and emotionally.
- Work with a passionate and experienced team in a well-resourced setting.
- Support vulnerable children in achieving their educational and personal potential.
- Contribute to tailored learning plans and make a visible impact each day.
- Enjoy ongoing support, training, and development from both the school and Teaching Personnel.
- Experienced professionals with a background in SEMH, SEND, or managing challenging behaviour.
- Confidence, resilience, and a calm, patient approach.
- Psychology graduates or those with similar relevant qualifications/experience are encouraged to apply.
- A valid child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply — we’ll guide you through it).
- Someone local to or able to easily commute to Kingston Upon Thames.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
