SEN Teaching Assistant – Worthing

Location: Worthing
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: Monday–Friday, full-time
Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and looking for a rewarding role in education?

We are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Worthing, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support to pupils, helping them to engage with learning, develop their confidence and make progress both academically and socially.

You may be supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs, so patience, resilience and a nurturing approach are essential.

We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Experience supporting SEN is desirable
  • A patient, calm and nurturing approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Someone who can build positive relationships with pupils
  • A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
