I am currently looking for a pro active Teaching Assistant to work at a fantastic facility in Scarborough. The right candidate will have experience working with individuals who have SEMH and Autism; you will be required to work 1 on 1 or in small groups. You will have to develop and implement learning plans so that each student can gain the skills and confidence that will allow them to become more successful within education. The role itself is challenging but for the right individual it presents great career development and for the right candidate a potential permanent position
The role:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons plans
- Develop and implement learning plans
- Work closely with student to develop self knowledge, self esteem & self confidence
- Excellent behaviour management
Candidate Requirements:
- Teaching Assistant or SEN background experience
- Qualifications or good knowledge of core subjects
- We will accept individuals who have a Sports or Psychology background
- The ability motivate disengaged students
- Available for a January start
