Do you have experience working with challenging behaviour?

Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a SEMH Provision in Scarborough that are currently looking for staff to start as soon as possible. The school cater for secondary pupils that have been excluded from mainstream school; therefore the students may suffer from following SEN needs:

  • Autism (ASC/ASD)
  • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
  • ADHD
  • SEMH
  • Behavioural difficulties

The position will involve working 1:1 or in small groups with the students. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with similar needs or be passionate about working in this type of school. Candidates that are suited for this type of school tend to have experience in some of the following:

  • Criminology
  • Youth/Community work experience
  • SEN experience
  • Residential support/care worker
  • Sports coaching
  • Sports Graduates
  • Team Teach
  • Youth Offending Services
  • Mentoring
  • Teaching/Learning support Assistance
  • Psychology
