SEN Support Teaching Assistant

Pay: GBP10-11 Per Hour

An opportunity has arisen in a reputable school in Fulwood. The role will be offering 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 2 who is diagnosed with Autism, this pupil is struggling with social interactions and is behind expected progress academically. This role requires a nurturing approach to offer support with social interaction and ensuring the pupil accesses the curriculum. This role is required as part of the child’s EHCP.

The school are supportive of all its staff and pupils. There will be opportunities for CPD and professional growth.

The successful candidate will need to have experience working with pupils with Autism and be willing to commit to working every weekday. A level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is also required.

The school are wanting to organise trial days as soon as possible.
