The School and Job:

Teaching Personnel have a long-standing relationship with a SEN School in Frome, who cater for boys and girls with special needs such as Autism and Complex Learning Needs. The School has an in-house team of qualified therapists offering Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration.

You will be working as a Teaching Assistant responsible for supporting termly topics across the class of 4-8 students and also 1:1 support.

The most important trait that prospective applicants should have is an engaging personality and a willingness to help. Applicants with a good attitude to work and the ability to be pro-active will thrive in this SEN school.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Any relevant SEN/Autism experience or qualifications is desired, however not essential so please still apply.
• A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve their best potential 
• Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support
• Good interpersonal skills and confidence
• Punctual and reliable
• Enjoys a challenge

Candidates are required to work full time 8.30am-15:30. We currently considering candidates who can start ASAP or in January.
