We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to join the staffing team at this ‘Good’ Ofsted rated Primary schoolin Chadderton, Oldham (OL9) upon schools re-opening. This school focusses on providing it’s pupils with an enriching and wholesome learning environment to support every child's foundations to education. The Headteacher’s main priority is to consistently deliver good quality education by striving for the highest standards using the best quality resources whilst promoting positivity and identifying children unique strengths to learning. 

The School are looking for a Teaching Aisstant in Year 2 who can support the schools ethos and become part of the wider school community.

As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will assist the Class Teacher with general duties and support in all areas. These will include but will not be limited to, supporting identified pupils with Numeracy and Literacy. You will also help teach children to become confident, responsible and caring members of the school and community.

The Person:

• Experience of working within Key Stage 1 or primary aged children

• Confidence and experience delivering literacy and numeracy intervention groups 

• Good classroom control and behaviour management

• Teachers looking to work in a supporting capacity welcomed to apply

• Graduates who are looking to start a career within Education are also welcome to apply

Due to the current National Lockdown, this post is advertised with a view to the successful applicant's start date of 08/03/2021 or as soon as schools reopen. The role is full-time (Monday - Friday).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
