Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School MFL Teachers to teach Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a variety of secondary schools. These MFL teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term MFL teaching roles, offering flexibility and opportunities for career progression.
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Secondary MFL Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a commitment to delivering high-quality Modern Foreign Languages education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by inspiring students to develop language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Role Responsibilities – Secondary MFL Teacher:

Teach Modern Foreign Languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German) at KS3 and KS4

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated MFL lessons

Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

Assess, monitor, and support student progress in MFL

Promote practical communication skills, cultural understanding, and language fluency
Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages in secondary education

Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

Passion for language teaching, communication, and cross-cultural understanding

Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
