Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School MFL Teachers to teach Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) across a variety of secondary schools. These MFL teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term MFL teaching roles, offering flexibility and opportunities for career progression.

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Secondary MFL Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a commitment to delivering high-quality Modern Foreign Languages education. This role is ideal for a teacher who wants to make a real difference by inspiring students to develop language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Role Responsibilities – Secondary MFL Teacher:

• Teach Modern Foreign Languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German) at KS3 and KS4

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated MFL lessons

• Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies

• Assess, monitor, and support student progress in MFL

• Promote practical communication skills, cultural understanding, and language fluency

Person Specification:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages in secondary education

• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills

• Passion for language teaching, communication, and cross-cultural understanding

• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student achievement
