Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working as a recruitment partner with a primary school in Darlington. The school are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to begin work on a full time basis starting in January 2021. the role will take place within one of their year 1 classes.

This 2 form entry Primary School graded “GOOD” in their most recent Ofsted report during the last academic year is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within their year 1 class. The school have stated that they are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well as part of a team. The school are looking for someone to hit the ground running so it is important that the right candidate be experienced within KS1. The role will involve supporting the class teacher where possible in the classroom. Helping support the different levels of ability in the class from lower to higher and also will involve some small group work of around 4-6 pupils in the core subjects like Maths, Reading and Writing.

• KS1 Teaching Assistant
• GBP65 - GBP75 per day

To be considered for this role you will need have the following:

• A DBS registered with the update service
• Experience with working in KS1
• An enthusiastic and driven personality
• Acceptable references from previous employers
