Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to work in a ‘Good’ school in the Darlington area.

Our client school is passionate about creating a happy and enjoyable environment where their staff can make a positive difference.

You will be working with pupils from a variety of backgrounds and with different learning abilities in Year 1. The role is to start as soon as a suitable candidate can be found and the school are looking for teaching assistants who can work for at least one term but with the opportunity of applying for a permanent role.

The role requires:

• Experience in supporting pupils with different abilities
• Teaching Assistant qualification
• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have a valid Visa
• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment
• Have an Enhanced DBS check that is registered on the Update Service
• Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions
