Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who could support a child who is returning to school post hospitalisation, to support their re-integration into school life. The post will be full time until the end of the academic year.

The school is a part of a trust and receives regular support from the neighbouring executive head. The schools aim is to ensure pupils and staff feel valued and respected, and inspired to achieve. The pupils are eager to learn, wonderful and take pride in their school. This is diverse culture within the school, something they are proud of. If you were to join their team you would be working alongside colleagues who care deeply about their pupils and team of educators.

You do not need to have experience with personal care or administering medication but you do need to have empathy, patience and the ability to build a trusting relationship with the pupil.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
