Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a teaching assistant to join a single form entry primary school in Ely at the start of the summer term- this role has the potential to turn into a full time role after an initial 3 month period. You would be joining a team of committed staff members who excel at providing a first rate education for all pupils within the school. 

You would be required to provide support in various classes throughout KS1-KS2 therefore experience working in an educational environment within these age ranges would be hugely beneficial. You would be offering support to select pupils- sometimes on a 1:1 basis and sometimes in small groups. This would be to provide additional support to pupils who may require it- experience working with SEN and challenging behaviour would be required to fulfil the requirements of the role-  you would also be required to provide support to the teachers, this may be in the organisation of the classroom or the classroom resources. 

The ideal candidate:

- A Teaching assistant, Looking to gain a higher level of knowledge and experience within a primary environment 

-Experience working with SEN/challenging behaviour 

- Great behavioural management skills 

- ability to run small intervention groups for select pupils

- Enhanced childs workforce DBS on the update service (we can help with this)

- UK address and right to work

-Adaptable work style 

-Highly motivated and passionate about education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
