Teaching Assistant
Job description

I am recruiting Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to join Teaching Personnel for work in the new academic year. If you would like to work as a Supply Teaching Assistant or a Learning Support Assistant, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
I am interested in hearing from Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants or Classroom Assistants who can offer both part-time and full-time availability. Ideally, you will have experience working with youth and posses a Bachelors Degree. Having a caring personality and being able to think on your feet is essential in this role. As a Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant you will be able to manage your own working schedule, working as much or as little as you wish and taking control of your work-life balance.
Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants who work on supply are required to work at different schools on different days, however it is very likely that you are going to be called back by name at the same school if you receive positive feedback when working there. Wherever possible, we will let you know in advance where you are needed. Alternatively, you will need to be available from 7am for a last-minute call. Most of these roles will be rolled on a long term basis and may even become permanent!
If you need guaranteed income, Teaching Personnel can offer full-time and part-time Guaranteed Work Schemes for the right Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants. The earning potential is huge as you can earn up to GBP15 per hour, depending on your experience and the role (T&C's apply).
To be able to get to the different placements, you will ideally have access to your own vehicle. I work with schools across Gainsborough, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Retford and surrounding areas. However, we will always endeavour to keep you as close to home as possible if that is what you wish for.
Benefits of working with Teaching Personnel:
- Access to employment opportunities in schools across Lincolnshire
- Competitive and fair rates of pay in the market
- Weekly pay on PAYE (we don't use external companies for payroll!)
- Access to exclusive CPD courses
- Friendly, supportive and hard-working recruitment consultants who will aim to find assignments suited to your needs
- Refer a Friend bonus scheme (earn GBP50 every time you refer a friend)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
