Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Bournemouth who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, starting immediately.

The successful candidate will be working within the school’s dedicated SEN provision, supporting students with a range of additional needs and helping them to get the most from their education. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with young people and is passionate about supporting students to reach their potential.

The Role

• Full-time Teaching Assistant position
• Immediate start
• Supporting students within the school's SEN provision
• Providing classroom and individual support where needed
• Helping students engage positively with their learning
• Working closely with teachers and the wider support team
• Building strong, trusting relationships with students

We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
• Experience supporting students with SEN is highly desirable
• A patient, supportive and approachable nature
• The ability to build positive rapport with young people
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning

This is an ongoing role for the right individual, with the opportunity to become an important part of the school’s SEN support team.
