The SENCO of a Blackpool Primary School is keen to secure an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception. The school has been allocated funding due to the child’s needs, this is an SEN support role and the child does require additional support a nurturing approach to help in maintain a routine and a calm manner. The Key Stage 1 child is working below age related expectations therefore; experience planning and differentiating activities to suit lower attaining children would be advantageous for this role.

Teaching Personnel hold a positive relationship with this school and we have been working alongside them for the past 24 months therefore we have a good understanding of the school’s ethos and the catchment area. This school is located in the South Shore area of Blackpool and is easily commutable using Public Transport Links. The role is to begin ASAP and the working hours will be 8:45-15:15. During the last academic year, this school did appoint a permanent TA through Teaching Personnel and prefer to start their support staff on a temporary basis in the first instance before considering a school contract.

The idea candidate will have:

-          Minimum Level 2+ qualification

-          Experience supporting children  in EYFS or Ks1

-          Experience working alongside children within the last 12 months.

Rates of pay are competitive for work of this nature varying from GBP9.50-GBP10.50 per hour (285 per week based on 30 hours).
