Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? Looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Casual Supply Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary and SEND schools across Hinckley.

About the Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping pupils thrive in the classroom. Assignments may vary day-to-day, offering a diverse and rewarding experience across different school settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Adapting to different school environments and age groups

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people (in schools or similar settings preferred)

  • A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
