Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a 'Outstanding' Primary school. Located in South Sheffield, this school prides its self on their school core values of resilience, creativity, resourcefulness and kindness. 

This is a part time position with the working hours of Tuesday to Friday 1-3.30PM and the school are looking for someone to stay with them until at least the Easter break and could have potential to be a permanant role for the right person. 

The ideal candidate would be someone who has phonics experience and is confidant in running small group interventions in preperation for the phonics screening test. They would also like someone who has previously supported children with SEN on a 1-2-1 basis as the role may include covering for another member of staff on occasions. 

The school in South Sheffield has excellent transport links so can be easily accessed by staff who dont drive.
