Looking for permanent work in Education?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting 2 Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health provision catering to pupils with complex needs. The needs of attending pupils are varied, but may include:

  • Behavioural difficulties
  • Anti-social and disengaged behaviour
  • ADHD

The Role:

Applicants will be working in a classroom supporting teachers and fellow Teaching Assistants on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with pupils. The role will operate between 8:30 - 16:00, Monday - Thursday. Friday hours 8:30 - 13:30.

The Candidate:

Ideal candidates will need to be able to drive. The role is based at there Boston Site until Jan 2020 and then will move to a new site in Spalding.

Ideal applicants should have previous experience working with complex behaviour or challenging needs professionally. Without professional experience any personal experience with the following could help the candidate succeed in this role:

  • Psychology
  • Youth/Community work experience
  • Care worker
  • Challenging behaviour within family
  • Mentoring
  • SEN Experience
  • Police Experience

We can offer Team Teach training in August 2019 ready for this role to being in September.
