Year 6 Teacher – Make Your Mark in Upper KS2!

Are you a confident, inspiring Year 6 Teacher ready to lead a class through one of the most important years of their primary journey?

We are working with welcoming and supportive mainstream primary schools across Dorset who are seeking a passionate Y6 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of an Upper KS2 class, guide pupils through SATs preparation, and support them as they transition to secondary school.

✨ The Role:

  • Full class teaching responsibility in Year 6

  • Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across the curriculum

  • Preparing pupils for SATs with confidence and structure

  • Creating a positive, motivating classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with supportive SLT and colleagues

‍ We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in KS2 (Year 6 preferred)

  • Strong understanding of SATs expectations and assessment

  • A calm, resilient and encouraging teaching style

  • Someone who can build strong relationships with pupils and parents
